I am a multidisciplinary artist and art therapist based in Minnesota working in photography, mindful drawing, collage, and mixed media. My practice is informed by my work as an art therapist, where I support others in using creativity for reflection, expression, learning, and connection through inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approaches. I am particularly interested in creating spaces where people can explore their strengths, express themselves authentically, and discover new perspectives through the creative process.
My work—both personal and in community creative spaces—is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, attention, and allowing meaning to unfold over time. I am interested in how creativity can hold complexity, contradiction, humor, and the parts of ourselves that do not fit neatly into categories. I am drawn to the unexpected ways insight, change, and new perspectives can emerge through creative exploration, and to the ways art often mirrors life: requiring patience, risk-taking, adaptation, and a willingness to not always know the outcome.
There is often a sense of “multiple directions at once” in how I work —different materials, ways of seeing, and ways of making that coexist rather than resolve into a single style. I tend to move across mediums rather than stay in one lane, following curiosity as it shifts and letting process guide what I make next.
Hello, I’m Breanna.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist, art therapist, photographer, and creative facilitator based in Minnesota. My work moves between personal art-making, community spaces, and mental health, exploring how creativity can support connection, reflection, and new perspectives.
I’ve always been curious about people, stories, and the many ways we experience the world. That curiosity has led me down many paths — from photography and mixed media, to facilitating workshops and community projects, to supporting others through art therapy.
I’m interested in the places where things overlap: art and psychology, structure and spontaneity, uncertainty and discovery. While my background includes clinical training in art therapy and counseling, my work is rooted in curiosity, creativity, relationships, and the many ways we make meaning of our experiences.
I enjoy wearing many hats and moving between different mediums, ideas, and interests. My creative practice is grounded in experimentation, paying attention to small details, and allowing ideas to unfold rather than forcing a specific outcome. Some of the most meaningful discoveries happen when we leave room for curiosity and don’t always know exactly where we’re going.
Outside of my professional work, I’m usually exploring or planning the next thing — taking photographs, making art, wandering somewhere new, learning something, or collecting inspiration. I’m drawn to sunshine, water, music, cats, and the occasional existential question.
Across all of my work, my goal is to create spaces where people feel welcome to explore, experiment, and express themselves. I value authenticity, accessibility, curiosity, and the creative process.

While my background includes clinical training in art therapy and counseling, my work is not just about diagnoses or answers — it’s about curiosity, creativity, relationships, and the process of making meaning.

I enjoy wearing many hats and finding the connections between seemingly different areas of life and work. I’m interested in the moments where things don’t fit neatly together — the contradictions, humor, uncertainty, and unexpected connections that emerge through the creative process. My creative practice is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and paying attention to the small details that often go unnoticed, all while remembering the bigger picture. I tend to move across materials and mediums, allowing ideas to unfold rather than forcing them into a specific direction. Some of the most meaningful discoveries happen when we allow ourselves to explore without needing to know exactly where we’re going.
